The Ute people are the longest continuous inhabitants of Colorado and Utah. According to the history, handed down by their elders, Ute people have lived here since the beginning of time. This webinar is an overview of Ute history and culture. Rebecca will discuss U.S. treaties and the impact they’ve had on Ute lands. Historic Ute photos from Colorado and Utah museum archives are incorporated into the presentation.
