Tosh McKetta, M.A., RPA

Tosh McKetta has been working as an archaeologist since 1998. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho and his master’s degree from the University of Montana. He is experienced in all aspects of the cultural resource management process including Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, The National Environmental Policy Act, and Section 4(f) of the DOT Act. He has conducted extensive field work and authored or coauthored over 175 professional reports. His experience includes inventory, historic documentation, cultural resource management planning, excavation, and predictive modeling projects. Tosh has worked for private firms, universities, and the U.S. Forest Service in 17 states and British Columbia. His professional interests include GIS modeling, statistical synthesis, and the prehistory and history of the Great Plains, Great Basin, and Columbia Plateau.
