Shanna Diederichs is a fourth generation Coloradan raised and shaped by the landscapes and history of the West. She works as an Archaeologist and Architectural Conservator at Woods Canyon Archaeological Consultants in Cortez, Colorado, and she supervised the Basketmaker Communities Project for Crow Canyon Archaeological Center. With an M.A. from Northern Arizona University and a broad background in research, site conservation, and public education, she aims to help people appreciate and imagine cultural landscapes of the past.
