Brooke Prevedel shares her College Field School experience

Posted December 1, 2022

This year, Crow Canyon hosted its second year of the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates College Field School program, with 10 students in attendance from underrepresented populations. Crow Canyon’s field school provides essential career development tools for students to gain technical experience in a breadth of archaeological activities, including pedestrian survey, excavation, and laboratory analysis, all with multivocal, multidisciplinary lenses.

Check out this blog post from Brooke Prevedel on her experience and takeaways from the College Field School program this summer.

“Crow Canyon’s field school was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I learned so much about archaeology as a field and a professional practice, and from that, I have been able to refine my interests and career goals.”
