|
Kiva-type use; based on the presence of a hearth, the kiva was heated at times and cooking may have taken place; a one-handed mano rests just above the floor and may have been used as part of grinding activity that took place on the floor or the roof during the final use of this structure; one complete item, a core, in roof fall.

|
Few items left in kiva; stones on top of hearth may have been deposited to smolder or smother the fire; treatment of roof at the time of abandonment is unclear because of the limited exposure of the roof fall deposits; it does appear that some of the roof may have been burned based on the abundance of burned adobe in roof fall.

| Postabandonment
|
Kiva filled with natural deposits and wall fall from this kiva and the tower to the north; several beams believed to be from the tower also collapsed into the abandoned kiva.
