Other Projects

Crow Canyon is involved in much more than just site excavation. Staff archaeologists collaborate with many other individuals, agencies, and institutions in innovative research that addresses issues of broad archaeological and anthropological interest.

The Village Ecodynamics Project
Crow Canyon archaeologists and educators are part of a multi-institutional, multidisciplinary team studying the long-term interaction between the ancestral Pueblo Indians (the Anasazi) and their environment. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation Biocomplexity Initiative and is being conducted in conjunction with Washington State University and other institutions.
