Four-Day Archaeology Program
For School Groups

Grades 4–12

In this four-day, five-night program, students learn the basics of Pueblo Indian history, excavate at a simulated site representing one of three different time periods, and participate in a variety of "ancient lifestyle" activities at our pithouse and pueblo learning centers. This program also includes two outstanding tours: one to the Anasazi Heritage Center, which includes interactive exhibits just for students, and the other to Mesa Verde National Park, a World Heritage site renowned for its spectacular cliff dwellings.

Program begins with arrival Sunday or Monday evening and ends with departure Friday or Saturday morning.

Activities and schedules are subject to change, depending on group size, weather conditions, campus capacity, and other factors.

Tuition and Fees

$555 per student; $300 per required chaperon (additional chaperons pay student rate)

Tuition rate based on minimum of 10 students. Groups with fewer than 10 students will be charged for the minimum of 10. Scholarships available for local and American Indian schools; please call the registrar.
