Three-Day Archaeology Program
For School Groups

Grades 4–12

In this three-day, four-night program, students learn the basics of Pueblo Indian history, excavate at a simulated site representing one of three different time periods, and participate in a variety of "ancient lifestyle" activities at our pithouse and pueblo learning centers. The program wraps up with a day-long tour of Mesa Verde National Park (a World Heritage site), where students explore the spectacular cliff dwellings and other archaeological sites for which the park is famous.

A typical three-day program begins with arrival Monday evening and ends with departure Friday morning.

Activities and schedules are subject to change, depending on group size, weather conditions, campus capacity, and other factors.

Tuition and Fees

$415 per student; $225 per required chaperon (additional chaperons pay student rate)

Tuition rate based on minimum of 10 students. Groups with fewer than 10 students will be charged for the minimum of 10. Scholarships available for local and American Indian schools; please call the registrar.
