Professional Development Opportunities for K-12 Educators

Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops & Summer Institute

Visitors to Mesa Verde National Park

Join us in 2010 at the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center in southwestern Colorado for two extraordinary professional development opportunities for educators. Surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the American Southwest, learn how archaeology can help unlock the doors to the past and expose students to an intellectually stimulating field of investigation.

Both programs—two one-week workshops and a three-week institute—are funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and provide stipends to cover all expenses. The faculty will include educators, archaeologists, and American Indian scholars.
