What to Expect

Travel

This program does not involve strenuous activity, but it does include short hikes, climbing stairs, and standing for more than an hour at a time at sites. Although most of the time we will travel in a comfortable coach, we will occasionally ride in 4-wheel-drive vehicles over rough roads. Two internal air flights are included.

Accommodations

All nights except one are spent in first-class hotels. One night is spent in a desert camp, with both single and double accommodations and attached toilet and bath. Shared accommodations are based on double occupancy. Single accommodations are available for an additional fee of $835 (main trip) or $284 (extension).
