Haynie Site Yields Clues to Ancient Pueblo Life

ARP at Haynie

Work on the Northern Chaco Outliers Project at the Haynie site has just begun, but Crow Canyon researchers are already finding tantalizing clues to the size and extent of the great houses at the site.

Crow Canyon Supervisory Field Archaeologist Caitlin Sommer says that some of the artifacts being discovered by Crow Canyon archaeologists and Archaeology Research Program participants at the Haynie site are some of the most intriguing finds she has ever seen.

The Northern Chaco Outliers Project and all of Crow Canyon's outstanding educational, research, and outreach projects are only made possible thanks to the generous, continuing support of donors and program participants like you. With your support, Crow Canyon is able to help people touch the past and change the future through the power of archaeology. Thank you!
