Tour a current archaeological excavation site, as well as Crow Canyon's lab and curation room. Through hands-on activities, explore the science of archaeology and the history and culture of the ancestral Pueblo Indians. Includes lunch at Crow Canyon's lodge.

Tour the best-known archaeological sites of southwestern Colorado and northern New Mexico, including Mesa Verde and Chaco Canyon. An introduction to ancestral Pueblo Indian (Anasazi) history and culture, designed for travelers who are new to the Four Corners area. Includes easy to moderate hikes.

In Utah's canyon country, go off the beaten path with our archaeologists and American Indian scholars. As you hike to backcountry sites, you'll learn about ancient cultures such as the ancestral Pueblo Indians. Choose from destinations such as Comb Ridge, Cedar Mesa, the San Rafael Swell, or Grand Staircase-Escalante.

Crow Canyon

Explore cliff dwellings and spend time excavating with Crow Canyon archaeologists at a real archaeological site. Includes age-appropriate, hands-on learning activities. Program based at Crow Canyon's campus in Cortez, Colorado.
