• The June 6, 2012, issue of the Cortez Journal featured the filming of a Time Team America episode in its article "PBS Filming TV Series at Dig Site Near Crow Canyon."
• A January 16, 2012, Quincy Herald-Whig article entitled "Hannibal Middle School Gifted Program Offers 'Ultimate Field Trip' to Colorado Archaeological Dig" highlighted the Hannibal, Missouri, school group that has come to Crow Canyon for 25 years.

• In the third year of the Pueblo Farming Project, Crow Canyon collaborates with Pueblo farmers to plant traditional gardens on campus. Indian Country Today, May 12, 2008.
• Vice President of Programs Mark Varien and Senior Research Archaeologist Kristin Kuckleman contributed to a major effort led by Washington State University professor Tim Kohler to examine the depopulation of the Four Corners region using computer simulation techniques. • Mark Varien, Crow Canyon's director of research, was interviewed for Colorado Matters, a program featured on Colorado Public Radio.
