Membership

Your membership supports every facet of Crow Canyon’s mission. With your help, we

• conduct long-term research in the American Southwest
• provide subsidies to about one-third of the more than 3,000 students who participate in school group programs every year
• publish our research reports, databases, and educational materials online for use by scientists, teachers, and the general public around the world
• involve American Indian tribal leaders, elders, and consultants in the development and implementation of our research projects and education programs

There are three categories of membership and various levels within each category. As a member, you receive a discount on our archaeology adventures and travel adventures. In addition, membership entitles you to a one-year subscription to Crow Canyon’s printed newsletter and a 10 percent discount in the campus Gift Shop.

Membership:

• extends for one year from the receipt of your membership contribution
• is tax-deductible to the extent that it exceeds the tangible benefits you receive
• is payable in up to 12 monthly installments for Silver Circle Society levels

Many members make additional contributions during a calendar year to support particular programs or appeals, or to remember friends and loved ones through a special gift.

Membership level is determined by a donor’s cumulative giving throughout the calendar year. In addition to the recognition members receive in Crow Canyon’s annual report, Crow Canyon bestows permanent recognition on Life Benefactors, donors who have made cumulative gifts or pledges to the Center totaling $50,000 or more. The generosity of Life Benefactors, individually and collectively, has had a transforming impact on the Center since its founding in 1983.

     Chairman’s Circle $1,000
     Director’s Circle $2,500
     President’s Circle $5,000
     Founder’s Circle $10,000 or more
