Crow Canyon CommunityPeople make Crow Canyon a special place. When the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center was founded in the early 1980s, it consisted of a small group of friends dedicated to what seemed an improbable dream in an unlikely place: the building of a national research and education center on a rural campus in southwestern Colorado. Nearly 25 years later, Crow Canyon has grown to include a much larger and broader community that extends far beyond the campus borders and welcomes all who share the founders' dream. In addition to a diverse staff, this community includes an active board of trustees, a dedicated and growing membership, a group of Native American advisors, and numerous colleagues with whom we regularly partner to further our research and education missions. |
