Announcing an Unprecedented $250,000 Challenge

$250,000 Challenge

As a successful year at Crow Canyon draws to a close, Board of Trustees member Sue Anschutz-Rodgers has offered a generous $250,000 challenge—the largest challenge to inspire increased support for current operations in the Center's 28-year history. The challenge will match dollar for dollar all contributions that meet the criteria. Check out the list of 2011 accomplishments.

In the spirit of the holiday season, we hope you will send your gift or make a pledge by December 31, 2011. (The challenge period extends through March 31, 2012, for donors who find that option more convenient.)

Matches will be applied as follows to gifts* and new pledges received by March 31, 2012:

  • If you have never contributed, your entire gift will be matched.
  • If your membership has lapsed and you haven't contributed in 2011, your entire gift will be matched.
  • If you have contributed in 2011, any additional contribution you make over and above your regular membership level will be matched.

Your help in meeting this challenge doubles the impact of your gift and is an expression of your belief in the value of Crow Canyon's work and mission. Together, through your special support this year, we can accomplish so much more to bring the past alive and make it relevant today!

*Contributions to the "Back-a-Box" Fall Appeal are excluded.
