Located four miles outside of Cortez, the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center campus provides a beautiful setting for the High School Field School. The campus consists of a 70-acre campus with modern research, classroom, office, and living facilities. The students are housed in dormitory style rooms in the main lodge.
Students spend their free time hanging out with people from all over the United States. They have a variety of activities to choose from, including volleyball, soccer, badminton, football, arts and crafts, and a lot more.
The Students spend the week with an extensive
program including fieldwork, lab work and special
seminars. Although the hours are long, the students
still find time to relax and converse at the end of the
day. The Weekends are time for outdoor activities.
The students get to unwind while camping in the
beautiful outdoor setting of the Four Corners region.
